Become a Wedding Crasher

Are you a drag performer with charisma, confidence and a flair for comedy? Join our growing team of Drag Queen Wedding Crashers and bring unforgettable surprise moments to weddings across the UK.

What Is a Wedding Crasher?

A Wedding Crasher is a drag performer who makes a surprise entrance during a wedding, bursting into the room as the music starts and performing the iconic “It Should Have Been Me!” routine. It’s fun, theatrical, and always gets a huge reaction.

Some performers are seasoned crashers, others are drag queens trying it for the first time — both are welcome.

What You’ll Need

  • A strong drag look suitable for weddings
  • Confidence interacting with guests and the groom
  • Good lip‑syncing skills for “It Should Have Been Me”
  • Professionalism and reliability

What You Don’t Need

To keep the surprise intact, you do not bring any sound equipment. The venue or DJ provides:

  • A working PA system
  • The music track ready to play
  • A cue point for your entrance

This keeps your arrival discreet and the surprise seamless.

How the Act Works

You’ll arrive quietly at the venue, usually 30–60 minutes before the performance. You may come fully dressed or use a private room to get ready.

At the agreed moment — often after speeches, during the mock signing, first dance, or cake cutting — the DJ hits the track and you make your entrance.

During the song, you’ll:

  • Walk around the room interacting with guests
  • Playfully tease the groom
  • Deliver a fun, high‑energy performance

After the routine, you may return for photos with the couple and guests.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome:

  • Experienced drag performers wanting more wedding bookings
  • New drag queens confident enough to try wedding crashing
  • Entertainers with strong character work and comedic timing
  • Reliable, professional performers who can follow cues perfectly
